A3R TBS

The Yamaha A3R TBS is a professional-grade acoustic-electric guitar from Yamaha’s acclaimed A-Series, designed to deliver excellent sound and stage-ready performance.

It features an all-solid wood construction, with a solid Sitka spruce top treated with Yamaha’s exclusive A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology. This gives the guitar a warm, mature, “played-in” sound right out of the box.

The solid rosewood back and sides provide rich overtones, deep lows, and sparkling highs, adding strong projection and a wide dynamic range.

The guitar has a traditional dreadnought body shape with a cutaway, allowing for powerful acoustic volume and easy access to upper frets. Scalloped bracing further enhances resonance and bass response.

The 3-piece mahogany neck is strong and comfortable, paired with an ebony fingerboard and bridge for smooth feel and crisp articulation. The 650 mm scale length and 43 mm nut width make it versatile and comfortable for most players.

For live performance, the A3R TBS comes equipped with Yamaha’s advanced SRT2 pickup system, which blends piezo and microphone modeling signals to create a natural, studio-quality amplified sound. Players can shape their tone using onboard controls, ensuring they sound great in any setting.
