A5M VN

The Yamaha A5M VN is a flagship model in the premium A-Series lineup, handcrafted in Japan for professional performers who demand top-level tone, craftsmanship, and reliability on stage and in the studio.

It features an all-solid wood construction, with a solid Sitka spruce top treated with Yamaha’s exclusive A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) process. This aging treatment gives it a broken-in, vintage-like tone straight from the start.

The solid mahogany back and sides deliver a strong, warm, and focused midrange with excellent clarity and punch, perfect for both fingerstyle and heavy strumming.

The traditional Western body shape with a cutaway provides powerful projection and smooth upper fret access. The guitar also uses scalloped bracing, enhancing low-end response and dynamic range.

A 3-piece mahogany neck, combined with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, offers superb playability, smooth feel, and rich articulation. The 650 mm scale length and 43 mm nut width give players a comfortable, modern feel.

On stage, the A5M VN is equipped with Yamaha’s top-level SRT2 pickup system, which blends an under-saddle piezo pickup with advanced microphone modeling for a natural, studio-quality amplified tone. The system allows detailed control of tone blending, EQ, and resonance shaping to match any performance setting.
