AC1R TBS

The Yamaha AC1M TBS is an acoustic-electric guitar from Yamaha’s popular A-Series, designed to provide excellent sound, comfortable playability, and reliable performance both on stage and off.

Body & Tonewoods

• Top: Solid Sitka spruce — gives the guitar a bright, clear, and dynamic sound with strong projection.

• Back & Sides: Mahogany — adds warmth and strong midrange focus, making the guitar well-balanced and versatile.

• Body Shape: Concert cutaway (AC shape) — smaller and more comfortable than a dreadnought, offering focused midrange, great for fingerstyle and light strumming. The cutaway design provides easy access to higher frets.

Neck & Playability

• Neck: Nato wood — durable and stable.

• Fingerboard & Bridge: Rosewood — smooth under the fingers and helps with warm tonal response.

• Scale Length: 650 mm — standard scale length, providing familiar tension and feel.
