AMX DGX-AIE Enova® DGX Audio Insert / Extract Board

The DGX-AIE is an audio insert/extract board designed for use with the Enova DGX 8, 16, 32, and Enova DGX 64 switchers. It provides audio insertion or extraction capability for the first 16 video input or output channels. The Enova DGX 8, 16, and 32 enclosures support one audio insert/extract board on the input side and one on the output side, while the Enova DGX 64 supports up to four boards on the input side and four on the output side.

This audio insert/extract board streamlines system design by allowing audio sources located near the Enova DGX to connect directly to the system. By eliminating the need for additional transmitters or receivers, it can significantly reduce overall system costs. It also enables embedded audio to be extracted and routed to a separate audio system for distribution throughout a facility.

Common Applications
The Enova DGX Audio Insert/Extract Board is ideal for scenarios where local sources, such as computers with analog audio outputs, are connected directly to the Enova DGX. Inserted audio can be embedded onto any Enova DGX output, while embedded audio from Enova DGX HDMI inputs can be de-embedded and sent to an external audio distribution system.
