AMX DGX800-ENC Enova® DGX 800 Enclosure

The Enova DGX 800 Enclosure (DGX800-ENC) is a high-performance digital media switcher engineered to handle 4K and Ultra High Definition (UHD) content. It features a built-in NetLinx® NX Integrated Controller, dual redundant power supplies, and support for Enova DGX video input/output boards as well as optional audio-switching boards. Each video board supports four connections, and the enclosure can house up to two input and two output boards, allowing for a maximum 8×8 switching configuration.

The Enova DGX 800 introduces advanced functionality, including automatic configuration of DXLink endpoints, unified IP addressing for multiple endpoints, and a redesigned web interface that streamlines system setup and management. Optional advanced audio switching boards provide audio breakaway functionality along with parametric EQ on every output.

More than just a modular switcher with an integrated controller, the Enova DGX 800 serves as the central hub of a complete AV distribution system. It manages and routes analog and digital audio and video signals—including HDMI with HDCP—along with control and Ethernet. With AMX’s exclusive InstaGate Pro® Technology, HDCP integration is seamless, offering true plug-and-play operation without tools, delays, or key restrictions.

Designed for current and future system requirements, the Enova DGX platform works seamlessly with DXLink and DGX transmitters and receivers to deliver end-to-end signal distribution over twisted pair cabling or fiber. Its integrated NetLinx NX Controller and embedded Ethernet switch allow centralized management of sources and displays throughout the installation.

InstaGate Pro eliminates HDCP switching delays and overcomes key-limited source restrictions, enabling unrestricted routing to all HDCP-compliant displays. Additionally, SmartScale® Technology on every output ensures optimal resolution matching for each display, simplifying integration when sources and displays support different formats. Through a combination of signal conversion, scaling, and high-speed digital switching, the system consistently delivers high-quality video regardless of signal type.

As part of a complete distribution solution, the Enova DGX can transmit analog and digital audio/video signals—including HDMI with HDCP—along with control data up to 10 km over single-mode fiber, 300 meters over multimode fiber, or up to 100 meters with power over standard twisted-pair cabling using DXLink technology.

The Enova DGX is ideal for simplifying AV control and distribution in large venues such as lecture halls, auditoriums, hotel ballrooms, casinos, museums, and stadiums. It is also well suited for multi-room or reconfigurable environments where multiple collaboration spaces share a single DGX system. Its long-distance fiber capabilities make it an excellent choice for high-rise buildings, large campuses, industrial facilities, and secure environments such as government offices, financial institutions, and network operations centers where data security is essential.
