AMX VPX-1701 7x1+1 4K60 Presentation Switcher

The AMX VPX-1701 is a compact yet capable 7x1+1 scaling presentation switcher designed for small conference rooms and classrooms. It supports video resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4 and is fully HDCP 2.2 compliant, ensuring compatibility with the latest source devices and displays.

The VPX-1701 features five HDMI inputs and two VGA inputs, along with built-in scaling that automatically adjusts incoming signals to the optimal resolution of the connected display. In addition to a local HDMI output, the unit provides a mirrored HDBaseT output for use with the DXL-RX-4K60. This enables delivery of switched video and audio from the table to the display, while also returning USB 2.0 signals from cameras or speaker devices back to the table for use with visiting laptops. An extracted audio output with volume control is included, allowing easy connection to powered speakers or an amplified soundbar near the display.

Control options include front-panel buttons, contact closure inputs for external source selection controls, and native NetLinx support for seamless integration with AMX automation systems. An open API is also provided for flexible third-party control.
