AS8 ACDC

The Avante Audio Achromic AS8 ACDC is a powered column speaker system built for acoustic performers, small ensembles, venues, and mobile entertainers. It includes an 8-inch neodymium subwoofer cabinet and two column components—one containing six 2.75-inch neodymium drivers arranged for precise sound projection, and another acting as a spacer to elevate the speaker for ideal coverage.

Equipped with a 1000-watt Class D amplifier with an internal limiter, the system delivers robust output suitable for solo artists and small groups. Its built-in 4-channel mixer includes a 2-band EQ and offers inputs for microphones, guitars, and line-level audio, along with Bluetooth 5.0 for seamless wireless audio streaming.

Designed with portability in mind, the system runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with an average operating time of 4 to 5 hours, and it can also be powered via a universal AC input (100–240V, 50/60Hz).

The vented active subwoofer covers frequencies from 55 to 200 Hz and reaches a maximum SPL of 116 dB, while the passive full-range column speaker handles 180 Hz to 20 kHz with a peak SPL of 110 dB. Its flexible design allows for both compact and extended setups, making it ideal for a wide range of intimate live performance settings.
