Description
The AT8647QM/S is a shock-mount plate designed for microphones mounted on lecterns, pulpits, conference tables and similar surfaces. It integrates both vibration isolation and a built-in mute switch with illuminated indicator. It’s optimized for gooseneck microphones (especially lightweight plug-in types) with XLR connections, but can be used for other compatible setups.
Features
-
XLR-female (XLR-F) connector mount, designed to work with gooseneck microphones with XLR-male output.
-
Suspended rubber isolation panel that reduces mechanical noise and vibrations transmitted from the mounting surface.
-
Built-in electronic mute circuit, powered by phantom power (24 V-48 V DC), with a push-on/push-off switch and LED indicator.
-
Terminal screw output connections for the signal (balanced) and phantom power.
-
Low-profile design with a low-reflectance black finish — less visually intrusive for conference or lectern settings.
-
Compact dimensions (approx. 80.5 mm wide × 104 mm deep × 15.5 mm high) and lightweight for a mounting plate.
-
Intended for environments like meeting rooms, conferences, public-speaking podiums — where mic mounting surfaces may transmit handling or structural noise.
