Description
This system is part of the Audio-Technica 3000 Series (4th generation). It combines a rack-mount receiver, a body-pack transmitter, and an omnidirectional earset/head-worn mic. It is designed for professional applications such as presentations, lectures, theatre, houses of worship, or events where wireless freedom and clarity are required. The “892X” refers to the earset mic variant, and “EE1” indicates the frequency band (530 – 590 MHz).
Key Features
-
True-diversity receiver for improved reliability and reduced drop-outs.
-
Wide tuning bandwidth: 60 MHz of UHF frequency range in the specified band.
-
Auto-scan capability to find clean operating frequencies among many options.
-
Up to about 100 m (≈ 328 ft) usable line-of-sight range under ideal conditions.
-
Dual-mode OLED display on the receiver (and on the transmitter) for status of RF level, audio modulation, battery, mute, frequency etc.
-
Body-pack transmitter: rugged, metal-housing, uses two AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH), with up to ~9–9.5 hours battery life on NiMH in low-power mode.
-
Transmitter has selectable RF output power (10 mW / 30 mW) to trade off between battery life and transmission robustness.
-
Headset/earset microphone (BP892xcH) is ultra-lightweight with omnidirectional polar pattern (for smooth, natural voice pickup and minimal proximity-effect).
