It uses 16‑pin LEMO 2B series connectors (male input, female output), and allows the microphone to be placed further from its breakout or recording station without switching to entirely different cabling.
It is optimized to maintain the professional multichannel linkage of the BP3600 system while extending the physical reach of the setup.
