The black JBL AW266 is a powerful, weather-resistant 2-way loudspeaker featuring a 12" low-frequency driver, engineered for full-range, high-output sound in demanding environments. Designed to be both lightweight and robust, it incorporates JBL’s Differential Drive technology with a dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap 2262H woofer, paired with a 2432H compression driver with a 1.5" voice coil for the high frequencies.

A large-format Progressive Transition waveguide delivers consistent 60° x 60° coverage, ensuring uniform sound dispersion. The loudspeaker also includes a built-in 400W transformer, making it suitable for 70V and 100V distributed audio systems.

The enclosure is crafted from a multi-layer fiberglass composite and internally braced to optimize low-frequency response. For environmental durability, the unit features a 16-gauge stainless steel grille, backed by weather-resistant open-cell foam and stainless steel mesh, providing effective protection against harsh outdoor conditions.
