The black AW566 is a high-performance, all-weather 2-way loudspeaker from JBL, engineered to deliver powerful full-range sound in a lightweight design. It features a 15" 2265H low-frequency driver with JBL's Differential Drive technology, utilizing dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps, along with a 2432H high-frequency compression driver with a 1.5" exit.

Equipped with a rotatable Progressive Transition waveguide, the speaker offers consistent 60° x 60° coverage and supports versatile horizontal or vertical mounting. For distributed audio setups, it includes a built-in 400W transformer compatible with 70V/100V systems.

The rugged enclosure is crafted from a multi-layer glass composite and internally braced to enhance low-end output. A durable 16-gauge stainless steel grille, lined with open-cell foam and stainless mesh, provides added protection in challenging outdoor environments.
