Description
The AW566-LS is a high-powered, lightweight, 2-way full-range loudspeaker designed for exceptional performance in demanding environments. It features JBL’s advanced Differential Drive technology, utilizing a 380 mm (15 in) 2265H low-frequency driver with dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps, paired with a 2432H high-frequency compression driver with a 38 mm (1.5 in) exit and a 75 mm (3 in) voice coil.
Its large Progressive Transition waveguide ensures uniform 60° x 60° coverage and supports flexible installation in either vertical or horizontal orientation. Additionally, the AW566-LS meets EN 54-24 certification standards, making it suitable for life safety and emergency communication systems.
