The Yamaha BB434 TBS is a versatile 4-string bass guitar that blends classic BB series tone with modern enhancements, presented in a striking Tobacco Brown Sunburst finish. The beautiful sunburst highlights the alder body’s grain, giving it a rich, vintage-inspired aesthetic.

Built with a solid alder body, the BB434 TBS produces a full, punchy low end, warm mids, and clear, defined highs—ideal for a wide range of styles from rock and funk to blues and jazz. Its 5-piece maple and mahogany neck uses Yamaha’s signature six-bolt miter joint for superior stability and improved sustain.

A rosewood fingerboard with a comfortable radius and medium frets offers smooth, effortless playability. The bass is equipped with passive YGD Custom V5 pickups in a P/J configuration (split single-coil neck and single-coil bridge), delivering everything from deep, vintage thump to bright, articulate tones.

The Vintage Plus Light bridge supports both string-through and top-load setups, enhancing resonance and making setup adjustments easy. Open-gear lightweight tuners keep the bass well-balanced and reliable on stage.
