The Yamaha BB735A DCS (Dark Coffee Sunburst) is a professional-grade 5-string bass guitar designed for players who demand top-level tone, versatility, and reliability.

It features a three-layer body construction of alder/maple/alder, giving it a tight, focused midrange punch and excellent resonance. The 5-piece maple and mahogany neck, secured with Yamaha’s unique 6-bolt miter neck joint, improves vibration transfer and sustain, providing a solid, responsive feel.

A smooth rosewood fingerboard offers comfortable playability across all 5 strings.

For electronics, the BB735A is equipped with YGD Custom V7 pickups (a split P-style pickup at the neck and a J-style single coil at the bridge), delivering a powerful low end and crisp, articulate highs. Its active/passive switchable circuit with a 3-band EQ offers total control over your sound — from vintage warmth in passive mode to modern punch and clarity in active mode.

A Vintage Plus bridge allows string-through or top-load setup, enhancing sustain and giving you tonal flexibility. Lightweight open-gear tuners help keep the bass well-balanced and stable.
