The Yamaha BBP34 MB is a top-tier, Japanese-made 4-string bass designed for professional players who want classic tone with modern refinements. Finished in a stunning Midnight Blue, it offers a sleek, elegant stage look.

This bass features a lightweight alder/maple/alder body construction, using Yamaha’s unique Initial Response Acceleration (IRA) treatment. This process enhances vibration transfer and gives the bass a “played-in” feel and lively response right out of the box.

The 5-piece maple/mahogany bolt-on neck is joined using a secure 6-bolt miter neck joint, providing excellent stability, sustain, and comfortable access across the rosewood fingerboard’s 21 frets.

Electronics include a pair of custom V7 Alnico V pickups in a classic PJ configuration (split single-coil in the neck and single-coil in the bridge). Combined with two individual volume controls and a master tone knob, this setup delivers a wide range of warm, punchy vintage tones and bright articulation when needed.
