The 545SD Classic Unidyne® Instrument Microphone, an earlier model in the lineage of the SM57, is a dynamic, unidirectional microphone with selectable dual-impedance functionality.
It comes preset for low-impedance use and includes a quiet magnetic reed switch with an optional lock-on mode. Widely favored for capturing instruments and for recording purposes, it also serves well in podium and public address applications.
