CONTROL 40CS/T

The JBL Professional Control 40CS/T is a passive 8" in-ceiling subwoofer designed for high-output, direct-radiating performance. It features an integrated passive crossover and is ideal for use in subwoofer-satellite setups. When paired with the Control 42 speakers, it delivers a natural, powerful audio experience that suits environments where broad frequency coverage and exceptional sound quality are desired without drawing attention to the hardware.

This subwoofer operates with a 200-watt amplifier and supports a frequency range of 50 to 180 Hz, reaching a peak sound pressure level of 115 dB. It can be used with an active crossover for enhanced low-end response and integrates seamlessly with other speakers in the Control Contractor ceiling series. The system supports both 70V/100V distributed audio or low-impedance direct operation and comes with installation accessories for flexible setup.
