Built for versatility, it allows users to pair it with external amplification and DSP, delivering professional-grade sound quality in any setting.

The system features a 12″ DAS Audio transducer, providing deep, powerful, and precise bass, while high frequencies are handled by the M-28 compression driver with a 1″ exit, optimized through FEM analysis for clear, balanced, and smooth sound reproduction. With a wide 90° × 60° dispersion, the ALTEA-712-WR ensures uniform sound coverage across medium to large venues.

Constructed from high-quality polypropylene, the enclosure is both rugged and lightweight (16.5 kg), featuring ergonomic handles, a slanted monitor angle, and integrated M8 rigging points for versatile installation. Its 35 mm speaker flange allows secure pole mounting for flexible stage or PA setups.

The WR (weather-resistant) variant is specifically engineered for outdoor use. Its INOX grille and screws provide rust protection, while a triple protective layer (foam, fabric, and water-repellent mesh) shields against moisture, dust, and small water particles. A protective cover over the speakON connector further ensures safe operation in adverse conditions.
