Compact. Powerful. Deep Bass Performance. The ALTEA-S15A is a high-performance active subwoofer designed to deliver deep, punchy low frequencies in a compact and portable format. Its bass-reflex design ensures extended low-end response and impressive sound pressure levels, making it ideal for both mobile and installed sound systems.

At its core is a 15" DAS 15FW4 woofer, built with a 3" voice coil and a die-cast aluminum basket for durability and high excursion capability. The optimized ventilation system minimizes power compression, allowing the subwoofer to maintain consistent performance even under heavy load conditions.

Powering the system is a Class D amplifier with a wide-range switching power supply, delivering 600 W RMS and 1200 W peak power. This combination produces up to 131 dB maximum SPL with a frequency response of 40 Hz to 125 Hz, ensuring tight, controlled, and impactful bass reproduction.

The integrated DSP with DAScontrol™ (LCD display and encoder) provides extensive configuration options, including adjustable crossover frequencies, Deep and Loud presets, and cardioid presets. These cardioid settings make it easy to configure multiple subwoofers to reduce rear sound radiation, improving stage clarity and overall sound control.

Housed in a durable birch plywood enclosure with a rugged ISOflex™ polyurethane coating, the ALTEA-S15A is built for reliability. A powder-coated steel grille, ergonomic side handles, and provision for rear wheel mounting ensure easy transport and long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
