Description:
The DAS Audio EVENT-115A is a compact, powered subwoofer designed to deliver deep, punchy low frequencies in a versatile and portable package. Featuring a front-loaded 15″ low-frequency transducer (15FW4) developed by DAS, it provides reliable, high-output performance for professional sound reinforcement applications.

The EVENT-115A is engineered as the companion subwoofer for the EVENT-26A line array, sharing a compatible rigging system that allows the EVENT-26A to be flown from or stacked above it. The 15FW4 speaker incorporates an extended 3″ voice coil for long excursion and high-efficiency operation, handling up to 1200 W peak program power. Optimized using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), the design includes a vented pole piece and generous backplate apertures to minimize power compression while maintaining consistent acoustic output over extended use.

A Class D amplifier powers the subwoofer with 600 W continuous (1200 W peak), and the rear panel includes Neutrik® XLR inputs and stereo “loop-thru” outputs to connect EVENT-26A units. Digital presets accessible through the DAScontrol™ interface simplify setup for full-system deployment.

The enclosure is constructed from durable birch plywood and coated with DAS ISO-flex for added protection. Rigging hardware allows for flexible deployment—flown below or stacked with EVENT-26A units. A top pole-mount socket is included for combined subwoofer and satellite configurations.
