Description:
The DAS Audio EVENT-121A is a high-output, powered bass-horn subwoofer designed to deliver deep, precise low-frequency reinforcement for EVENT Series line arrays. Combining direct radiation with a rear-loaded design, it provides tight, accurate, and impactful sub-bass with maximum efficiency and minimal distortion.

At the heart of the system is the DAS 21LFN neodymium loudspeaker, featuring a 4″ sandwich split-winding voice coil, FEA-optimized neodymium magnet assembly, and an advanced suspension system with double silicon spider. This design ensures high sensitivity, superior power handling, mechanical durability, and reduced distortion. An aluminum demodulating ring improves linearity, while forced ventilation of the voice coil minimizes power compression during prolonged high-output use.

The subwoofer is powered by a 3200 W peak Class D amplifier with integrated 24-bit DSP, providing precise control over gain, polarity, and a continuously variable low-pass filter (63–100 Hz). The rear panel includes a dedicated cardioid preset button for simplified setup in two- or three-unit configurations, eliminating the need for an external processor. Balanced inputs and stereo filtered outputs, which can also function as pass-through connections, enable flexible integration. The EVENT-121A maintains coherent phase alignment with active tops like the EVENT-208A, EVENT-210A, and EVENT-212A, ensuring accurate system alignment and superior performance.
