The DAS Audio EVENT-30A is a compact, self-powered two-way line array speaker engineered for high-performance sound reinforcement with exceptional ease of use. Its lightweight yet durable polypropylene cabinet houses two 10″ neodymium transducers and two M-60 (1.75″) compression drivers paired with a precision waveguide. The symmetrical “V” configuration of the transducers provides consistent 90º horizontal coverage down to 200 Hz, while the waveguide ensures controlled vertical dispersion and precise coupling between units in vertical arrays. A dedicated rain cover protects the integrated amplifier module, enabling reliable operation even in adverse weather conditions.

This system features Smart Self Tuning, an intelligent alignment technology that automatically optimizes the performance of line arrays. Each unit detects its position within the array using infrared sensors, communicates with other enclosures, identifies the top and bottom units, and loads the appropriate preset (including long-throw and short-throw modes) to ensure correct system behavior without manual setup, saving time and reducing potential errors.

Powered by a high-efficiency Class D amplifier with a universal switch-mode power supply, the EVENT-30A delivers 1000 W continuous and 2000 W peak power, reaching a maximum SPL of 142 dB (AES75). Its onboard 24-bit DSP with FIR processing provides flat-phase response, exceptional clarity, and seamless integration with other models in the series (EVENT-26A and EVENT-28A).

Deployment is simplified with the Fast Set Splay (FSS™) rigging system, allowing precise angle adjustments directly from the transport dolly. Stainless-steel rigging hardware supports flown arrays of up to 24 units with 1º incremental adjustments from 0º to 10º. The EVENT-30A pairs seamlessly with the EVENT-S218A subwoofer for full-range low-frequency reinforcement. Weighing 26.5 kg, it delivers professional-grade performance while remaining portable and versatile for medium to large events, fixed installations, and rental applications.
