The DAS Audio EVENT-M12A is a compact, self-powered coaxial stage monitor designed for professional audio applications requiring precise coverage and high dynamic performance. Its coaxial design integrates a 12″ low-frequency driver with a 3″ voice coil and a high-frequency compression driver with a 2.5″ voice coil on a shared acoustic axis, providing coherent full-range output and symmetrical coverage.

Despite its compact size, the EVENT-M12A delivers extended low-frequency response down to 60 Hz, making it suitable for stage monitoring as well as point-source reinforcement. The numerically optimized 50° x 70° horn ensures consistent, controlled coverage across both horizontal and vertical planes, delivering clear and accurate sound for performers and audiences alike.

Constructed from multi-layer birch plywood and finished with a durable polyurea coating, the cabinet is both robust and visually discreet. A pole-mount socket integrated into the handle allows flexible deployment as a point-source speaker when needed.

The integrated Class D amplifier provides 1000 W continuous / 2000 W peak power. Advanced 24-bit DSP with FIR filtering ensures flat-phase response and compatibility with other EVENT series models, including EVENT-26A, EVENT-28A, and EVENT-30A. Wi-Fi connectivity allows firmware updates via a web-based interface, keeping the system up to date with the latest features.
