EAW MW8 BLACK

The EAW MW8 Black is a compact, passive 2‑way stage monitor enclosure designed for professional live sound and monitoring applications. It uses a coaxial driver design that pairs an 8‑inch woofer with a 1.75‑inch voice‑coil compression driver to deliver full‑range sound coverage with controlled 90° horizontal x 90° vertical dispersion. The coaxial layout improves coherency by having all frequencies emanate from the same acoustic point, reducing phase issues and crossover anomalies. The enclosure’s front port enhances low‑frequency response when coupled with the floor. The Baltic birch plywood cabinet is finished in durable RoadCoat™ textured black paint for rugged road use, and a steel grille protects the transducers. The monitor can be used on the floor, as a console bridge monitor, or mounted with optional hardware.
