Description
The RedNet D64R is a 64 × 64 MADI (AES10) to Dante bridge in a 1U rack form factor. It connects large-scale MADI systems to Dante‑based audio-over-IP networks, allowing bi‑directional transfer between the two. It supports both coaxial and optical MADI, and includes Word Clock I/O for sync. Features:
- Add MADI to RedNet - or RedNet to MADI
- Supports both optical and coax interfaces, connect to any MADI equipment
- Slave either the RedNet systems or MADI streams to an external word clock
- Supports up to 64 channels of digital audio I/O at standard sample rates
- Asynchronous sample rate convertors (ASRC) allow MADI and RedNet systems to operate simultaneously at different sample rates
