Overview

The 55SH Series II is a cardioid dynamic microphone with a vintage design and sound profile optimized for vocals, making it ideal for studio sessions, live performances, and on-camera use. Its internal shock-mounted element reduces unwanted noise from handling or vibrations transmitted through the mic stand. The cardioid pickup pattern focuses on sound directly in front of the mic, limiting ambient noise and feedback from nearby sources.

Designed to capture audio within a 50 Hz to 15 kHz range, the mic features a gentle boost in the upper mids around 6.5 kHz, enhancing vocal clarity. It includes a standard 3-pin XLR output for seamless integration with mixers, preamps, and PA systems. An integrated on/off switch allows for quick muting during breaks, and the attached swivel mount tilts 45° forward and 80° back. Its rugged die-cast chrome housing ensures durability for frequent use on the road.
