The white JBL Professional AM5212/66 is a passive 2-way 12" loudspeaker system designed for medium-power applications, making it ideal for a range of professional settings such as theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, live venues, clubs, sports arenas, and theme parks. It features JBL’s Differential Drive 262H-1 low-frequency driver with dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps, paired with a 2408H-1 compression driver with a 1.5" exit and 1.5" voice coil for high frequencies. The system includes a large-format Progressive Transition (PT) waveguide offering 60° x 60° coverage, which can be rotated for flexible horizontal or vertical installation. High-slope passive crossovers reduce frequency overlap, while consistent off-axis response improves array configuration. With a simple switch, the AM5212/66 can be used in either passive or bi-amp mode.
