The white JBL Professional AM5212/95 is a passive 2-way 12" loudspeaker system designed for medium-power use and is ideal for permanent installations in venues such as performance halls, theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, live music stages, nightclubs, sports arenas, and theme parks. It features JBL’s advanced Differential Drive 262H-1 12" low-frequency driver with dual voice coils and dual magnetic gaps, paired with the 2408H-1 high-frequency compression driver with a 1.5" exit and 1.5" voice coil. A large-format Progressive Transition (PT) waveguide provides 90° x 50° coverage and can be rotated, allowing for either vertical or horizontal speaker orientation. The system's high-slope passive crossover networks reduce frequency overlap for clearer sound reproduction, while its precise off-axis response improves array performance. The AM5212/95 can operate in either passive or bi-amp mode with the flip of a switch, offering flexible configuration options.
