JBL Control 424LP  Overview

The JBL Control 424LP is a compact, two-way coaxial ceiling speaker featuring a 4-inch woofer and a space-saving low-profile design, making it ideal for installations with limited ceiling plenum space. It incorporates CRBI (Coplanar Radiation Boundary Integrator) technology to deliver wide, uniform sound coverage of 130°, with a tonal quality that closely aligns with the Control 424C/T.

A sleek, full-face magnetic grille provides a clean, modern appearance, with optional black and square grille variants available to suit different aesthetics. The speaker also features updated mechanical components, including improved terminal covers with both top and side cable entry options, and a newly designed dogear mounting system compatible with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses.

As part of the Control 400 Enhanced Coverage series, the 424LP includes a built-in transformer for use in both 70V/100V distributed systems and low-impedance setups.
