The Pitchblack X is a high-precision chromatic pedal tuner designed for guitarists and bassists, blending rugged pedalboard-ready construction with excellent tuning accuracy and visibility. It’s built in a durable aluminum housing with a scratch-resistant coating, making it stage- and road-worthy. The onboard display is large and bright, with a multi-segment LED meter that remains readable in a variety of lighting environments — from dark stages to bright daylight.

One of its standout features is the ULTRA BUFFER, which preserves your instrument’s signal strength when using long cables or complex pedal chains. But if you prefer a cleaner signal path, you can switch to true bypass instead. For tuning, it supports very fine adjustments with a calibration range, and offers a “just-right tuning” indicator: when you hit the exact pitch, triangular LEDs blink to confirm you're in tune.
