The Korg Pitchblack XS is designed to meet the needs of bassists with precision and versatility. It offers four display modes—regular, strobe, half-strobe, and mirror—allowing players to monitor pitch in different ways. In strobe and half-strobe modes, pitch changes are indicated by the speed and direction of the meter, while mirror mode uses LEDs on both sides of the screen that converge in the center when the note is perfectly in tune. Additionally, a “just-right tuning” feature makes the triangular LEDs on the sides blink when the correct pitch is reached. Compact yet highly accurate, this pedal is a reliable addition to any pedalboard.
