? Hybrid Oak Shell Construction

• Built with a 7-ply hybrid oak shell, approximately 7.3 mm thick.

• Incorporates a phenolic center ply that enhances projection and boosts attack, making the tom stand out clearly in live and studio mixes.

• Oak provides a bright, sharp attack and rich low-end body, resulting in a big, full sound even in this small size.

  Hardware & Design

  • Equipped with 2.3 mm steel DynaHoops, ensuring stable tuning and focused overtones.

  • Features dark chrome Absolute single-post lugs, which minimize shell contact and help maintain resonance and sustain.

  • Uses Yamaha’s Y.E.S.S. III mounting system (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System), which supports the shell from below, reducing vibration loss and allowing freer resonance.

  • Comes with Remo Clear Emperor batter head and Clear Ambassador resonant head, providing a punchy, clear tone straight from the factory.
