The Yamaha LHT-1007UMS is a 10″ × 7″ rack tom from the Live Custom Hybrid Oak series. The UMS stands for Uzu Magma Sunburst — a striking red-to-black gradient finish that highlights the natural oak grain using Yamaha’s unique uzukuri brushing technique.

Hardware & Details

• Bearing edge: Precision 45° with slight rounding (R1.5) for balanced attack and sustain.

• Hoops: 2.3 mm steel DynaHoops (dark silver), providing stability and a defined midrange.

• Lugs: Yamaha Absolute single-post lugs (dark chrome), designed for minimal shell contact and maximum resonance.

• Mounting system: Compatible with Yamaha’s Y.E.S.S. III system, allowing the tom to resonate more freely and maintain tone.

• Heads: Equipped with Remo Clear Emperor batter and Remo Clear Ambassador resonant heads for punchy, articulate sound.
