Product Overview

The JBL MTC-16WG is a high-humidity grille designed to enhance the durability of ceiling speaker installations in moisture-prone environments. Standard steel grilles can be prone to rust, often becoming the most vulnerable part of the system. This optional grille solves that issue by using rust-proof aluminum alloy, paired with a tough, powder-coated finish that resists pitting—common with bare aluminum surfaces.

Available in both black and white finishes, the MTC-16WG complements the look of JBL’s Control 10 Series ceiling speakers. It is compatible with models such as the Control 16C/T, 26C, and 26CT in white, and the Control 16C/T-BK in black (speakers sold separately). In addition to its weather-resistant construction, the grille maintains a professional appearance while extending the life of the installed speaker system in challenging environments.
