Description
NMX-ENC-N2122A Encoder Overview
The NMX-ENC-N2122A encodes and distributes virtually any video source across an existing IP network, making it accessible to any endpoint in the facility. When paired with an NMX-DEC-N2222A or NMX-DEC-N2212A decoder, streams can be converted back to HDMI or DVI for display on monitors. This flexibility allows large, cost-effective switching and distribution systems without the need for proprietary cabling or dedicated switching hardware.
The encoder includes IR, serial, balanced audio, two network ports (one PoE), AES67 support, and a local video pass-through port, and can auto-detect analog or digital video input.
The AMX SVSI N2000 Series uses JPEG2000 compression to deliver HD, cinema-grade video over LAN, ideal for applications where video quality is paramount. Users can easily adjust video quality and bandwidth through a web-based interface to optimize each installation.
Common Applications
The NMX-ENC-N2122A is ideal for matrix switching and high-quality video distribution in environments such as:
-
Enterprise facilities
