The Yamaha NTX5 NT is the flagship model of Yamaha’s NTX (Nylon String Crossover) series, designed for professional players who want nylon-string warmth with modern, electric-guitar-style comfort and stage-ready features.

It features a solid European spruce top for bright, clear projection, paired with solid walnut back and sides to deliver rich, warm, and balanced tones. The African mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard provides smooth playability and a premium feel.

With its thin body depth (80–90 mm) and single cutaway, the NTX5 offers exceptional comfort and easy access to higher frets, making it ideal for modern fingerstyle, solo work, and crossover genres. The slimmer 48 mm nut width is especially welcoming to steel-string and electric guitar players.

On stage, the NTX5 shines thanks to Yamaha’s advanced Atmosfeel pickup system, which combines an undersaddle piezo, internal contact sensor, and microphone. This setup captures the natural, dynamic sound of the guitar and delivers a clear, full tone through amplification. Simple onboard controls (volume, mic blend, and treble EQ) let you shape your sound easily.

Finished in a classic Natural gloss, the NTX5 looks as stunning as it sounds, with elegant detailing and gold tuners.
