Description

The OB‑X8 is a modern revival of Oberheim’s classic OB-series synthesizers, blending the sonic character of the OB‑X, OB‑Xa, and OB‑8 into one instrument. It uses a 100% analog signal path to recreate that iconic vintage warmth, while offering modern enhancements. Its design goes deep—every subtle interaction from the original OB synths was meticulously analyzed and recreated, giving you both nostalgia and expressive tone-shaping. The keyboard version is equipped with an expressive 61-key FATAR keybed that has both velocity sensitivity and aftertouch, allowing for dynamic, performance-driven modulation.
