Description

Katana‑Mini

The Katana‑Mini is a compact, battery‑powered guitar amplifier from the Katana series. It’s designed to give you the signature Katana tone — with real amp feel — but in a very small, portable format that’s easy to carry, use for practice, or take anywhere.

It’s not a full‑size amp; rather, it’s a “grab-and-go” amp ideal for practice, jamming, travel, or quiet playing.

 Key Features & Capabilities

  • Multi-stage analog gain circuitry + three amp “voicings” — offers three sound modes: Clean, Crunch, and Brown. Clean gives crisp and clear tones; Crunch is good for overdriven rock/blues; Brown delivers a more saturated, harmonically rich tone for heavier riffs or solos.

  • 3‑band analog tone stack (Bass, Mid, Treble) — allows you to shape your tone like you would on a full‑size amp.

  • Built‑in tape-style delay effect — you can add ambient echo/reverb-like repeats or more pronounced delay for leads, without needing external pedals.

  • Compact size & portability — small and lightweight (barely over 1 kg), with handle — easy to carry around, place on a desk or shelf, or bring anywhere.

  • Battery operation (6 × AA) or optional AC adapter — you can play with just batteries (handy for travel/field use) or plug into power when available.

  • Aux / backing‑track input — lets you plug in a phone or music player and jam along with tracks.

  • Headphones / “record out” output with cab‑voicing — useful for silent practice or direct recording with a “miked amp” tone without needing a speaker.

  • Surprisingly full & rich tone for size — despite being so small, it aims to deliver more natural tone and dynamic response than typical “toy‑amp” practice amps.
