Designed for both stereo and surround applications, it offers 50 renowned Lexicon reverb, delay, and modulation effects, along with newly developed pitch algorithms and an innovative Surround Room algorithm.
To enhance creative flexibility, the PCM96 Surround incorporates multi-mode filters at various points in the signal path, enabling precise reverb shaping without losing the signature Lexicon sonic character. All reverbs include an "Infinite" switch, allowing the effect to sustain indefinitely—perfect for crafting ambient textures and unique soundscapes in post-production environments.
Mac users can utilize the unit as a hardware plug-in via FireWire for VST, Audio Units, or RTAS software, either as a control-only insert or for direct audio streaming.
