The PHXB-2016MRPWH is a 20" × 16" bass drum from Yamaha’s flagship PHX (Phoenix) series, designed for professional drummers who demand exceptional tone, power, and refined aesthetics.

• Hybrid Shell Construction:
  Features an advanced 11-ply hybrid shell, combining a core of hard Jatoba for low-end punch, intermediate plies of Kapur for warmth, and inner/outer Maple layers that enhance clarity. The exterior is finished with a Burled Ash veneer, adding natural beauty and extra tonal complexity.

• Matte Polar White Finish:
  The outer layer is coated in an elegant Matte Polar White lacquer. This smooth, satin-like finish highlights the grain patterns of the Burled Ash veneer underneath, giving the drum a modern and sophisticated look on stage and in the studio.

• Precision Bearing Edge:
  A 30° bearing edge with a 1.5 mm radius is specifically designed to deliver a focused, articulate attack and controlled sustain, making it easier to achieve a punchy yet warm bass sound.

• Hardware Features:
