The PHXB-2416MBCS is a premium 24" × 16" bass drum from Yamaha’s flagship PHX (Phoenix) series, designed for powerful, articulate low-end with maximum resonance.

• Hybrid 11-ply shell (approx. 10.3 mm), combining Jatoba core, Kapur mid plies, and Maple inner/outer plies for rich low frequencies, warm mids, and clear attack.

• 30° bearing edge with R1.5 profile tailored for bass drum punch and control.

• Undrilled shell ("R" configuration) for open, natural resonance and pure tone.

• Hook lugs & 3 mm aluminum die-cast hoops ensure tuning stability and strong projection.

• Finish: Black Cherry Sunburst (MBCS), offering an elegant, high-gloss look that highlights the wood grain beautifully.
