The PHXB-2416MGBCS is a high-end 24" × 16" bass drum from Yamaha’s flagship PHX (Phoenix) series, built for powerful, focused low end and maximum shell resonance.

Hybrid 11-ply shell (~10.3 mm), featuring a Jatoba core with Kapur and Maple plies, designed to deliver deep bass, warm midrange, and crisp highs.

30° bearing edge with R1.5 profile, specially cut to provide a punchy, controlled attack ideal for bass drum use.

Undrilled shell ("R" version), meaning no tom mounts—ensuring open, natural resonance and a full, rich sound.

Hook lugs and 3 mm aluminum die-cast hoops allow strong projection, excellent tuning stability, and minimal shell contact.
