The PHXB-2416MGMB is a premium 24" × 16" bass drum from Yamaha’s flagship PHX (Phoenix) series, designed to deliver deep, powerful bass and maximum resonance.

• 11-ply hybrid shell construction (~10.3 mm thick), using a Jatoba core, Kapur inner plies, and Maple outer layers. This unique combination produces rich low-end, warm mids, and articulate highs.

• 30° bearing edge with R1.5 profile, tailored for bass drum attack and tight, controlled sound.

• Undrilled shell design ("R" version), meaning no tom-mount holes—allowing the drum to resonate fully and produce an open, natural tone.

• Hook lugs and 3 mm aluminum die-cast hoops provide excellent tuning stability and strong projection, while minimizing shell contact.

• Finish: Matte Green Burst (MGMB), a modern, sophisticated satin finish that highlights the wood grain and gives the drum an elegant, understated look.
