The PHXB-2416MGMN is a top-tier 24" × 16" bass drum from Yamaha’s flagship PHX (Phoenix) series, created for drummers who demand the ultimate in tone, projection, and craftsmanship.

• Shell: 11-ply hybrid construction (approx. 10.3 mm thick) with a core of Jatoba, intermediate Kapur plies, and outer Maple layers. This hybrid design delivers deep, rich low frequencies, balanced mids, and smooth highs.

• Bearing edge: 30° with an R1.5 profile, optimized for bass drum punch and controlled sustain.

• Undrilled shell design: No tom mounts, allowing maximum shell resonance and a more open, natural bass tone.

• Hardware: Equipped with Yamaha’s signature hook lugs and 3 mm aluminum die-cast hoops for excellent tuning stability, powerful attack, and reduced shell contact.
