The PHXB-2416MGRMN is a professional 24" × 16" bass drum from Yamaha’s top-tier PHX (Phoenix) series, designed to deliver maximum resonance, warmth, and powerful low end.

It features Yamaha’s advanced 11-ply hybrid shell construction, combining a Jatoba core for deep, focused bass response, Kapur for rich mids, and Maple outer plies for clarity and projection.

A 30° bearing edge tailored for bass drums enhances attack and provides controlled, musical sustain. The undrilled "R" shell design (no tom mount holes) allows the drum to resonate fully and naturally, producing a wide-open, pure tone.

The drum is equipped with Yamaha’s hook lugs and 3 mm aluminum die-cast hoops, which ensure precise tuning, stability, and strong attack while preserving shell resonance.
