The PHXB-2416MGRPWH is a premium 24" × 16" bass drum from Yamaha’s flagship PHX (Phoenix) series, created for drummers who want deep, powerful low end and a modern, elegant look.

It features Yamaha’s signature 11-ply hybrid shell, combining a Jatoba core for punchy, focused bass, Kapur for rich warmth, and Maple outer plies for clarity and projection.

A 30° bearing edge specifically designed for bass drums delivers a strong, punchy attack with controlled sustain, while the undrilled "R" shell (no tom mount holes) allows maximum shell resonance and pure tone.

Equipped with hook lugs and 3 mm aluminum die-cast hoops, this drum offers superb tuning stability and clear, powerful projection without sacrificing shell vibration.
