Shell construction

• Uses Yamaha’s exclusive 11-ply hybrid shell design:

  • Jatoba core (dense, powerful projection)

  • Kapur intermediate plies (adds warmth and strong midrange)

  • Maple outer plies (enhances resonance and provides an elegant finish)

This shell combination produces massive low-end power, warmth, and a highly musical response.
