The PHXF-1413MPWH is a premium 14″×13″ floor tom from Yamaha’s flagship PHX (Phoenix) series, handcrafted in Japan for discerning drummers seeking exceptional tone and craftsmanship. This drum features an 11-ply hybrid shell constructed from Jatoba, Kapur, and Maple woods, providing a balanced tonal response with warmth and clarity. The bearing edge is a 30° R2 profile, specifically designed for floor toms to offer a perfect balance of attack and sustain, making it very articulate at all dynamic levels.

Equipped with 3.0 mm die-cast aluminum hoops, the PHXF-1413MPWH offers the resonance detail of triple-flanged hoops with the tuning precision of die-cast hoops. The hook lugs with internal locking mechanism ensure consistent tuning and shell resonance. The mounting system utilizes the Y.E.S.S.
