Shell Construction

• Hybrid Shell Composition: Features an 11-ply construction combining Jatoba (center ply), Kapur (middle plies), and Maple (inner and outer plies). This configuration aims to produce a wide dynamic range and rich tonal qualities.

• Air-Seal Molding Process: Ensures consistent shell thickness and roundness, contributing to optimal resonance and tuning stability.

⚙️ Hardware & Mounting System

• Y.E.S.S. II (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System II): A mounting system that isolates the tom from the shell mount, allowing the drum to vibrate freely and produce a more resonant tone.

• 3.0mm Die-Cast Aluminum Hoops: Provide rigidity and deliver powerful rim shots and clarity of tone without choking the drum.

• Hook Lugs: Designed to make head changes quick and easy, these lugs are located at positions on the shell that mute unwanted overtones and enhance the fundamental note.
